What is an Internship?

According to National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), an internship is experiential learning that integrates classroom knowledge with practical application in a professional setting. Internships help students gain valuable experience and make connections in professions they are considering for career paths. With an internship you can:

Spend a week at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo building AI solutions for real community college challenges. No experience needed, just curiosity and drive. Learn by doing on a mentored team with students from across the California Community Colleges system.
