Kern County residents may attend CalFresh focused distributions in their communities to obtain supplemental food support. To obtain these services, please bring your EBT card to distribution locations.

CalFresh is a nutrition assistance program that offers individuals and families additional
funds to buy food. Eligible students can receive up to $291 monthly to purchase groceries.
CalFresh Benefits can be used in farmers markets, grocery stores, and supermarkets to purchase fruits, veggies, bread, dairy, frozen items, and much more.
