Faculty Updates

This is guidance specific to meetings and events.

Our previous activity, event and meeting guidance was related primarily to student events or student involved events. As a result of questions and continuing developments, this guidance relates to any college group gatherings or meetings- including entirely internal meetings.

  1. Generally, whenever possible any meeting should be held using technology- Zoom, CCC Confer, phone, etc.
    1. Meetings of less than 10 can be conducted as long as the required 6 feet of physical distance can be maintained.
    2. Meetings of 10 or more can ONLY be conducted via technology.

Please apply this immediately. If you have meetings scheduled that will be conducted in person, please ensure you have fewer than 10 participants and that you are scheduled in a space allowing for 6 feet of physical distance. Please let me know if you have a any questions.

This is guidance specific to travel with students.

Effective immediately, please cancel all travel that involves students, regardless of activity or destination. This guidance refers to any planned or expected travel through the end of the spring semester. I know that this is disappointing and unfortunate, but we have to primarily consider safety precaution for our employees and students. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Take care,
