The workshop is held once a year to assist student leaders across the district in obtaining and strengthening their leadership skills in conflict and risk management, communications, teamwork, time management, proactive event planning, goal setting, and risk taking. They also gain understanding of their role in the participatory governance process.
A popular event, the workshop allows students from across the district to share new ideas, current trends, and facilitate solutions to common concerns.
