Welcome to Cerro Coso Community College
Cerro Coso Community College was established in 1973 as a separate college within the Kern Community College District. Cerro Coso has five instructional sites (Eastern Sierra College Centers Bishop and
Mammoth Lakes, Ridgecrest Indian Wells Valley Campus, Lake Isabella Kern River Valley Campus, and Edwards AFB South Kern Campus), which together form the largest geographical service area (18,000 square miles) of any community college in California and which serve a population of approximately 85,000. A leader in online education, Cerro Coso has been offering online classes since 1997 and offers 16 Associate degrees entirely online and as many as 160+ classes online each year, with approximately 180 sections per semester. A number of changes impacting students will go into effect this summer and fall. Please read the updates to ensure that you have the most current information in preparation for the summer and fall terms.
The Summer and Fall schedules of classes are now available. Priority registration began April 12. Open registration began April 26. Fully matriculated students qualify for priority registration. Check your matriculation status.

8 Day Home Health Care Aide Course Offered at Cerro Coso in Bishop This Summer
Cerro Coso Community College is offering an 8-day, intensive Home Health Care Aide course at the Bishop campus this summer. Classes will be held from June 4th through June 14th, Mondays through Thursdays, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Particicpants must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to enroll. [More] |
