Military Tuition Assistance Check List

For NEW Military Students

  1. Apply to Cerro Coso by filling out the online application form.
  2. Contact and meet with your Educational Liaison Officer with your respective branch.
    1. After meeting with your Education Officer, they will inform you what courses are approved.
  3. Register for your approved courses.
  4. Submit your Tuition Assistance Authorization Form to the Admissions & Records Office:

      1. Summer Office Hours: Monday – Thursday: 0730-1830, closed Friday.
        1. Summer Office Hours are in effect until 06 AUG 2018.
      2. Normal Office Hours: Monday-Thursday: 0730-1800, Friday: 0800-1200.
  5. At the end of the semester, final grades will be posted to the appropriate military sites for all students using Tuition Assistance.
    1. Please allow up to three weeks after the end of the semester for grades to be posted.

** For General Information: Students utilizing Tuition Assistance will be added to the prospective contracts to have the enrollment fees paid for. Please allow up to 10 working days to process the authorization. **

For RETURNING Military Students
