Kern Community College District has partnered with BankMobile to deliver your financial aid refund. We are committed to delivering 100% of your refund at no cost, providing students with clear choices and offering great customer service.
BankMobile will soon be mailing registration information to the home address you have on file at the college. So, it's important that address is current. If for any reason you think it might not be, let us know so we can make sure it is correct.
Students will receive a Refund Selection Kit in a bright green envelope in the mail during their first semester of enrollment, whether they are scheduled to receive financial aid or not. It is important that you select your refund selection immediately upon arrival, via the website listed in your Refund Selection Kit or in your email from BankMobile. Keep all information pertaining to your BankMobile account throughout your entire duration with the College for future financial aid disbursements or credit refunds due to changes in enrollments.
If you did not receive your Refund Selection Kit or have lost your packet you can request an Instant Personal code at any campus Business Office with a Student ID. Please be aware there is a $10 fee for a Vibe Account that has been activated and it can be reordered by visiting bankmobilevibe.com.

If you don’t receive financial aid, you still may receive money back from the school in the future. After all, you may drop a class or make an overpayment. Going through this process now can ensure you’ll receive any money owed to you by your school in a timely manner.
If you’re due a refund, you’ll get an email from BankMobile letting you know when it’s been processed.
