Stay tuned for information on an exciting new workshop series being sponsored by Cerro Coso Community College in the Kern River Valley entitiled “Kern River Valley Pathway to Success: A Series of Seven Workshops to Energize Your Employment Success.” beginning August 20, 2018,. This valuable career centered series will focus on topics such as:

  • looking and feeling your best
  • budgets/repairing credit
  • choosing your career path
  • resume writing/mastering job applications
  • interview and presentation skills

The workshop will conclude in March with a job fair so that participants will have a chance to speak with employers in the area.

Cerro Coso holds a Career Exploration Day every year during the Fall semester.

Career Development services are here not only for students, but are also here for employers to have optimal employment and placement experiences.

Our services are available to businesses in the Indian Wells Valley community and extension locations.
