The Admissions & Records team will be hosting step-by-step demonstrations of the admissions application and providing hands-on support for the admissions process.

Cerro Coso Fall Food Drive

Saturday, November 5, 2022

3 PM - 6:00 PM

Flight Line Tap Room, Ridgecrest

The college will be holding a food drive at Flight Line Tap Room on Friday, November 5th to help stock the Coyote Cupboard for the upcoming semester. The community is invited to donate non-perishable food items during this event, or any time by contacting the Outreach Office at 760-384-6353.

The Campus Pride Safe Space Training Program

Friday, June 24, 1-3 pm

The Campus Pride Safe Space Training Program is a nationally recognized program that provides training and signage for institutions committed to supporting LGBTQ students. A Safe Space Program is one of the measures of a supportive campus on the Campus Pride Index (CampusPrideIndex.org). We are offering a two-hour online version of the Safe Space Training. This online training prepares individuals to understand the importance of a Safe Space, learn terminology and LGBTQ identities, and how to be a Safe Space. Participants will receive an official Campus Pride Safe Space certificate with their name upon completion of the full two-hour training.

Statewide Cash for College Workshop

Next Workshop: February 24 | 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

The California Student Aid Commission (Commission) is pleased to announce the continuation of statewide Cash for College workshops aimed to provide information to help students and families complete the 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA).

The webinars are FREE and open to all students and families applying for financial aid. We will have volunteers answering questions throughout the session via chat box (general questions only) and one-on-one assistance on a phone line after the webinar.

Students can register for the webinars on the Cash for College Workshop Registration site.
