To all the veterans of the Armed Forces, we are proud of you, we respect you, we honor you, and we thank you for your service. Let us come together to honor and commemorate all those who served in the United States Military by kicking off Veterans Celebration Week with a Morning Colors and Flag Raising Ceremony!

Guest speakers include Jack Connell, Retired Naval Office and KCCD Board of Trustee, Eric Bruen, Mayor of the City of Ridgecrest, and Dr. Sean Hancock, Cerro Coso's 8th President.

COVID Vaccine Clinic

Vaccine Clinic and Exemption Support

Cerro Coso has partnered with Savon Pharmacy of Ridgecrest to provide FREE Covid Vaccination Shots. The vaccine will be available for any student who would like to receive it. Cerro Coso will be present to help support all CC students who are attending on-ground courses with their Covid Card submission, as well as support with Covid Vaccine Exemption forms. We want to make this easy for you!

Statewide Cash for College Workshop

The California Student Aid Commission (Commission) is pleased to announce the continuation of statewide Cash for College workshops aimed to provide information to help students and families complete the 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA).

The webinars are FREE and open to all students and families applying for financial aid. We will have volunteers answering questions throughout the session via chat box (general questions only) and one-on-one assistance on a phone line after the webinar.

Students can register for the webinars on the Cash for College Workshop Registration site.

Guest speaker Grant Vigneault will be speaking on topics covering the admissions process, student life, and post-graduation. A Q&A session will follow.

He will be speaking in Room 350 at the Ridgecrest campus and via Zoom.

Grant Vigneault - Navy Spirit Team Captain

MIDN 1/C Grant David Vigneault is a 2018 graduate from Burroughs High School and a current member of the Class of 2022 at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Grant is a Robotics, Control Systems, and Weapons Engineering major with a focus in Engineering Management. He is a member of the Navy Spirit team where he has served as the team captain of the Mascot Team for two consecutive years. Grant spent his entire childhood in the Ridgecrest area before departing for Maryland in 2018. He enjoys hiking, fishing, baseball, and the military lifestyle.
