Welcome to the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) providing services to students at the Ridgecrest, Lake Isabella, and Bishop campuses. The Cerro Coso Community College EOPS Program was developed in 1975 to give community people who have financial and academic need an opportunity to obtain their dreams. EOPS assists and aids in meeting the needs of all eligible students with grants and services such as: assessment, counseling, peer counseling, career development, academic monitoring, priority registration, transportation, and textbook vouchers.

EOPS Summer Institute is a weekend conference for community college EOPS students who are interested in taking their education to the “next level.” Exploring transfer concepts, leadership and communication skills, academic skills and cultural awareness are just a few of the topics that will be covered during the weekend conference.
This year's conference will be held at UC Santa Barbara Friday, June 24, 2016 through Sunday, June 26, 2016. You will need to complete and submit the Complete and submit the EOPS Summer Institute Application by Friday, May 6, 2016. If you are selected, we will notify you by Cerro Coso email before June 1.
