In-person Commencement Ceremonies are planned for both the Ridgecrest and Bishop/Mammoth Lakes campuses. Eastern Sierra College Center will kick off the celebrations on Saturday, May 8th, at 10 a.m. at the Bishop TriCounty Fairgrounds. It will be open to graduating students and their family/friends, along with our faculty, administration, and staff. This is a drive-in event and everyone is requested to remain in vehicles, except the platform party and graduates, and to wear masks if you need to leave your vehicle.
On Friday, May 14th at 8 a.m. the Ridgecrest Campus will be an in-person ceremony. Graduates will pick up their regalia in the Student Center, 10 at a time, and will be escorted to the Lecture Center, where their names and personal messages will be read and degrees conferred. Graduates will then proceed to the fountain area where various photo stations will be available. The activities will culminate in the Sculpture Garden. Each student will be allowed to have a limited number of attendees.
