Associate in Arts degrees (AA) are general studies degrees that you can use to prepare for a major at a four-year university.

AA in General Sciences

  • Prepares students for upper-division course work after transfer to a four-year science degree program.
  • Has several emphases in order to meet the needs of students interested in biology, chemistry and physical sciences.
  • Classes needed for this degree are available at Ridgecrest/IWV.

  • Is set up to satisfy general education requirements for transfer students.
  • Emphasizes the study of cultural, literary, humanistic activities, and artistic expression of human beings
