Cerro Coso Community College

Disability and Identity Art Exhibit

Fine Art Exhibition through College website. Emphasis is Disability & Identity.

Our identity helps us answer the age-old question: Who am I? For many, disability is an important aspect of identity, and one in which experiences and perceptions vary widely. Art is a powerful means of expressing those experiences and perceptions. Disability and Identity invited students, staff, and community to submit works of art exploring the connections between disability and identity. Help us celebrate the creativity and diversity of a wide range of abilities and perspectives, while exploring how individuals may make sense of disability identity through this showcase.

This virtual art exhibition is hosted by Cerro Coso's Access Programs, in partnership with the Visual and Performing Arts Department. It is part of a larger set of college activities focused on disability awareness and resources for students on health and wellness. We encourage anyone to participate and to utilize creativity and art in their wellness practice.
