The Coyote Soccer program is hosting a High School Soccer ID camp for female soccer athletes that are looking to gain insight into the Cerro Coso collegiate soccer program. For more information please fill out the Coyote ID Camp forms. High school players, 11th and 12th graders, are encouraged to attend.
The Cerro Coso Community College Women’s Soccer ID Camp is designed for players who are committed to taking their technical and tactical abilities to the next level and who are also interested in playing for CCCC. Players attending this camp will have the opportunity to play in a college type environment with focus on speed of play and competitive games.
The Cerro Coso Coyote’s Soccer team was able to hold off CVC opponent College of Sequoias Tuesday afternoon by a margin of 2-1. The Coyotes worked well together during the match. Both goals came off of some smooth footwork and passing which were finished off of the foot of Jackie Bribiesca. The Coyotes continue home play this Friday at 4:00 pm, against Fresno City College.
Cerro Coso Coyotes Women’s Soccer had another historical mark on Tuesday afternoon with the first ever Central Valley Conference victory. The 6-0 win against conference foe, Reedley College was highlighted by a tremendous performance by Coyote Goalie, Yessica Morales to provide a shutout. The Coyotes return to CVC play this Friday when they visit West Hills College.
The Coyotes had a difficult time finding the back of the net Tuesday evening as they took a loss to Victor Valley College 0-5. The Coyotes were engaged in a hard fought contest and played well to the final whistle, but were no match for an aggressive Rams soccer club. Cerro Coso returns to the road this Friday for their Central Valley Conference opener against Taft College.
