Cerro Coso Community College proudly provides services to all our military-connected students. The Military and Veterans Services team aids active-duty military, veterans, and their dependents that may be eligible for various military-connected educational benefits. This team helps transition veterans from military to civilian life within the academic environment. Military and Veterans Services houses a dedicated Educational Advisor eager to help students complete their academic goals and a dedicated School Certifying official who serves as a liaison between veteran students/dependents and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Cerro Coso Community College is approved under Title 38 of the United States Code. Admissions, registration, and course offering are consistent with Title 38 U.S.C. §3679(e). Dependents of veterans may be eligible for the Dependents Education Assistance® (Ch. 35) benefit if the veteran meets one of these criteria, as determined by the VA:
Students in reserve status (Ch. 1606/1607) may qualify for reimbursement for a portion of their educational costs.
