Disbursement Schedule

Important Dates to Remember and Disbursement Schedule

All financial aid grant checks and student employment/Federal Work Study payroll checks are mailed to the student at the address on your Admissions record.

This timeline indicates:

  • Priority application deadlines
  • Tentative scheduled dates for grant check disbursements
  • Student employment/Federal Work Study paydays
  • Start and ending dates of terms.
15th of each month Student Employment, Federal Work Study (FWS), and Cerro Coso College Work Study (CWS) Payday
Aug. 27, 2007 Fall 2007 semester begins
Aug. 28, 2007 First payment of Fall 2007 Pell grant funds
Sep. 02, 2007 2nd deadline for Cal Grant GPA Verification, you must also file the 2007-2008 FAFSA
TBA Cerro Coso College Fall Scholarship deadline
Oct. 23, 2007 Second payment of Fall 2007 Pell grant funds
Dec. 14, 2007 Fall 2007 semester ends
Jan. 01, 2008 FAFSA available for 2008-2009 academic year
Jan. 21, 2008 Spring 2008 semester begins
Jan. 22, 2008 First payment of Spring 2008 Pell grant funds
Mar. 02, 2008 Priority deadline for 2008-2009 FAFSA and Cal Grant GPA Verification
TBA Cerro Coso College Spring 2008 Scholarship deadline
TBA High School Senior Scholarship deadline
May 16, 2008 Spring 2008 semester ends
Mar. 18, 2008 Second payment of Spring 2008 Pell grant funds
June 9, 2008 Summer 2008 session begins
June 10, 2008 Payment of Summer 2008 session
July 31, 2008 Summer 2008 session ends

Financial Aid Check Disbursements

MailingCheck disbursements are twice a semester, once at the start of semester and during the middle of the term. Financial Aid CHECKS will be MAILED to students. Please update your mailing address via the myBanWeb Student Information System. Contact the Financial Aid Office if you have any questions (760) 384-6221.
