Financial Management & Recovery Specialist

Desired Qualifications & Job Highlights

  • Must possess the ability to input, access and retrieve data from the computer and other various Credit Union programs
  • General reading, writing, arithmetic, clerical, and communication skills
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 10 pounds, i.e. charge off files
  • Research and analyze historical data on past due accounts
  • Ascertain location of member through skip traces or other methods
  • Maintain proper documentation on past due accounts and collections
  • Communicate and interact with law enforcement agencies, judicial departments, attorney, peer collectors, repossession agents and car dealers to minimize outstanding accounts.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Six months to one-year general business experience desired
  • One to two years related experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally, with difficult people without loss of composure and confidentiality
