Our newly created Career Development Center will focus on 1) assisting
students in their career needs; and 2) building relationships with the
community businesses to assist with their employment/recruitment
requirements.
For Students with career needs:
Our services, located in the Career/Transfer Center, Room 224, are open
to all students and visitors from the community and include:
Access to and instruction in the use of career information and
search tools;
Career counseling;
Classes and workshops in career development such as resume writing,
job interview skills training, interview role-playing; and
Job placement and advisory services.
These services are available to students, graduates and former students
for off-campus part-time, full-time, temporary, permanent or summer
employment opportunities.
Cerro Coso also offers online career services through
VAULT, the world’s leading source of career information. VAULT can make
your career search easier and more efficient. Cerro Coso is pleased to be
able to make service available to students. Please note that a password is
required to use the VAULT services.
Please contact the staff at your extension office to determine the local
availability of career counseling activities available to you.
