Diplomas

How do I get my diploma?

After you have completed all of your graduation requirements and have met with a counselor to determine your eligibility for graduation, you need to fill out a "blue card" for Admissions and Records which provides them with all of the information they need to complete your diploma. The blue card will include your name as you want it to appear on the diploma, and the degree you are receiving, as well as the term you are graduating, along with other information that will be used to establish class statistics. Online students should request that their diplomas be mailed to them.

Are there fees involved?

The diploma itself is free. You can also request a diploma cover which is also free. Graduates going through the graduation ceremony will receive their diploma cover as part of the ceremony.

When will I receive my diploma?

It generally takes up to two months after graduation for grades to be processed into academic history and diplomas and certificates to be ready for pick up by students. After you fill out a petition for graduation, whether you graduate in the Spring, Summer, or Fall semesters,  you can expect your diploma or certificate to be available at the Admissions and Records office two months from the end of the semester you’re graduating. Post cards will be mailed as a reminder to students informing them that their diplomas are available for pick-up.
