Microsoft Word is one of the
easiest and most effective document tools to create course materials and
documents for faculty and staff. However, there may be some problems
with unnecessary HTML tags and other formatting issues emerged when the
conversion from Word to HTML is processed. By removing the
tags, you reduce the size of the document, which in turn reduces both the
amount of space used on Web servers as well as the time it takes to
download the page. If you want to get rid of the unneeded tags generated
by Word, you can perform the following clean-ups in Office 2000 HTML
Filter 2.0. You can go to http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/2000/htmlfilter.aspx, to download
this freeware.
After downloading Office 2000
