Cerro Coso to Host California State University Bakersfield Representatives for On-Site Admissions Day

October 26, 2009

CSU Bakersfield representatives will be the Cerro Coso College campus on Wednesday, October 28 from 10am-2pm in the Career and Transfer Center, Room 224 to extend conditional admits for Winter 2010 through Fall 2010.  Students should have their applications through CSUMentor completed before meeting with them. The checklist that students should review and complete is available in the Counseling Center.
 
Interested students are asked to  sign up at the Counseling Office to reserve a spot to meet with the admissions counselors from CSUB.  Not only are the admissions counselors coming to Cerro Coso College to extend conditional admits to CSUB, they are happy to meet with students to answer questions that they may have about transfer to the four year institution.
 
“This is a great opportunity for our students considering our state's recession and the fact that many CSU campuses are limiting their enrollment,” stated Cerro Coso Counselor Karee Hamilton.
