Introduction to Adobe Photoshop Software and "Raw" Format Offered at Bishop

October 2, 2009

The Cerro Coso Community College, Eastern Sierra College Center, Bishop Campus is offering a Community Education workshop on the “Introduction to Adobe Photoshop and 'RAW' Software.”   This two session class, instructed by John Wilson, will meet from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2009 and Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Bishop Campus, Computer Classroom, Room 120-1.  There is a $65 Community Education fee for this class. Topics to be covered include the use of “RAW” software to process images, use of Photoshop tools, adjustment layers, creating layer masks, and retouching with emphasis on Photoshop’s most powerful tools.  This workshop will include a hands-on lab session where students will have an opportunity to work on their own images.  This class is limited to 20 students and the minimum age is 15 years. 

Students are to print and complete the “Student Registration Form” found on the College website at www.cerrocoso.edu/communityed under Bishop Campus.  To register mail or fax your completed form to the phone number and address listed at the top of the form.  You can also register in person at the Admissions and Records Office.  For more information, contact the Eastern Sierra College Center, Bishop Campus at (760) 872-1565.
