Community Education Ceramics Class Offered at Bishop

September 22, 2009

The Cerro Coso Community College, Eastern Sierra College Center, Bishop Campus is offering a Community Education class in “Community Ceramics.”  This ongoing open enrollment course, instructed by Patty Holton, meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:10 p.m. until 8:20 p.m. in the Art Room at the Bishop Campus and ends on December 11, 2009.  There is a $150 Community Education fee for this course which includes a $25 materials fee.  Students will have the opportunity to work at their own pace on a variety of ceramic projects in hand building and wheel throwing.  Instruction will focus on basic and advanced techniques.  There will be opportunities for individual evaluation and coaching throughout.  This class is limited to 30 students and the minimum age is 16 years.

Students are to print and complete the “Student Registration Form” found on the College website at www.cerrocoso.edu/communityed under Bishop Campus.  To register mail or fax your completed form to the phone number and address listed at the top of the form.  You can also register in person at the Admissions and Records Office.  For more information, contact the Eastern Sierra College Center, Bishop Campus at (760) 872-1565.
