College Offers Free State Preschool

June 2, 2009

The Cerro Coso Community College, Child Developments Center is now accepting applications for a State Preschool funded by the California Department of Education.  This program is free for income eligible families. The State Preschool begins August 10, 2009 and goes through June 30, 2010 for children who will be 3 or 4 years old by December 2, 2009.  It is a half day kindergarten readiness program which will provide your child with the following quality learning experiences: language/literacy, science, math, self-help and social skills, creative activities, and large/small muscle movements.

The Cerro Coso Community College, Child Development Center also provides additional care for children 3 months to 5 years old.   Families who are enrolled in classes at Cerro Coso Community College have priority enrollment.
