GED Prep Course and GED Exam to Be Offered at IWV

April 8, 2009

Cerro Coso Community College will be administering the entire series of tests for the General Education Development (GED) examination on Tuesday and Thursday, April 21 and 23, 2009.  The test times for both days will be 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Examinees must be within 60 days of their 18th birthday and not enrolled in a high school.  Examinee must also bring a current photo ID. The ID card must show name, address, date of birth, signature, and a photograph, such as a drivers license.  The cost of the two day exam is $100.00 and must be paid for prior to the test date. Testing accommodations for individuals with learning and/or physical disabilities can be arranged with an additional application process.

Cerro Coso also offers a class to help prepare for the GED Exams.  This class provides individual tutoring and computerized practice.  For details on the prep course please contact Bonita Robison at 384-6380 and for information regarding the GED Test, or to register for the examination, please contact Paula Caudill at 384-6209. Register early, seating is limited.
