Cerro Coso Foundation Swears In New Board Members

March 24, 2009

Solomon Rajaratnam swears in Chuck Faris and Cheryl GatesCerro Coso Community College Foundation President Solomon Rajaratnam giving the oath of office to new Foundation board members Cheryl Gates and Chuck Faris.  “I am very happy to be part of the Cerro Coso Foundation and to help raise awareness of the Foundation and its purpose within the community and to better serve the needs of our students,” stated Cheryl Gates, Director of Vocational Nursing and Health Careers at Cerro Coso Community College.  “I am excited to be able to support the Cerro Coso Foundation and the educational needs of the local Ridgecrest community,” stated Chuck Faris, Vice-President, DCS Corporation.
 
The Foundation was established in 1977, as a non-profit corporation organized to receive scholarships and gifts on behalf of Cerro Coso Community College.  The Foundation’s primary purpose is to promote the welfare of the College.
