College to Hold Auction Saturday

September 4, 2008

Cerro Coso Community College will hold a Surplus Auction this Saturday, September 6 beginning at 10 a.m.  Preview and quick registration will take place from 7 to 9:45 a.m.  Preview on Friday, September 5 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The auction will be held under a shade canopy with chairs provided. This is a local and live auction.  Only checks and cash will be accepted.
 
A wide variety of surplus equipment and supplies has been included in the auction inventory….audio visual equipment, electronics and science equipment, artist and drafting equipment, exercise and sports equipment, office equipment, automotive equipment including tractors and vehicles, etc. will all be auctioned off. Local professional auctioneer is Wallace Martin.
 
Complementary forklift assistance on the day of the auction. All winning bid items must be removed by 5 p.m. the day of the auction.  A 3-7 day time extension will be allowed for very heavy items.
