ESCC Mammoth Campus

ESCC Mammoth Lakes 5th Annual Intensive Spanish Summer Institute

May 16, 2008

The Cerro Coso Community College, Eastern Sierra College Center in Mammoth Lakes will be hosting the 5th Annual Intensive Spanish Summer Institute.  Register now for this one-week institute that will take place Monday, July 7, 2008 through Friday, July 11, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Mammoth Lakes Campus.  The institute is perfect for all levels of Spanish learners, from beginners to advanced, and is a mix of conversation, grammar and electives.  Electives may include Spanish film, short stories, cooking and vocabulary for travelers.  Tuition for the entire week is only $40.
 
Mammoth Mountain Ski Area (MMSA) Staff Accommodations is offering inexpensive housing for the institute - $30 per night per person.  For information about housing, please contact the MMSA Staff Accommodations at (877) 934-3717.  Reservations are required.  Other accommodations and information about Mammoth Lakes can be found at www.visitmammoth.com.
 
For registration, or more information, please contact the Cerro Coso Community College, Eastern Sierra College Center, Mammoth Lakes Campus at (760) 934-2875 or visit www.cerrocoso.edu/escc.  Institute participants must enroll in one section of SPAN C252, Special Topics in Spanish and one of the four levels of grammar/conversation: SPAN C150, Intensive Spanish Beginner; SPAN C154, Intensive Spanish Beginner-Intermediate; SPAN C250, Intensive Spanish Intermediate; or SPAN C254, Intensive Spanish Intermediate-Advanced. 
 
Whether novice or fluent, spend a week immersed in Spanish language classes developing your grammar and conversation skills and exploring the cultures of Spain and Latin America.
