Cerro Coso to Administer Placement Exams

May 7, 2008

The Cerro Coso Community College Summer Session begins June 9, 2008.  In preparation, and for student convenience, the Indian Wells Valley Campus, located in Ridgecrest will be administering the College Placement Exam for the summer term on May 12, 20, and May 29.  Placement Exams will also be administered on June 4, 9, and June 11.
 
The Placement Exam is free and measures writing, reading, and math skills.  It is suggested that prospective students with no prior college level English and Math take this exam.  The Placement Exam assists students in choosing the appropriate course levels and directs them toward their educational and career goals.
 
The Placement Exams will be given on  May 12, 20, and 29 from 2 to 4 p.m.  On  June 4 the test will be conducted from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and on June 9 and June 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. Call the College today and sign up for the date that best fits your schedule.
 
Space is limited and reservations are required.  If you are interested in taking the Placement Exam, please call the College at 384-6100 to schedule an appointment.
