College to Hold "Parent Orientation Night" at Burroughs High School

February 19, 2008

The Cerro Coso Community College Counseling Office will be hosting a “Parent Orientation Night” on Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Burroughs High School Library.  Cerro Coso would like to invite all local high school seniors and their parents to attend this presentation on the College’s Transfer Program and a general overview of the College.  Some of the topics to be discussed include: the enrollment process, student service programs, financial aid, our excellent vocational programs, transfer requirements and resources, and the opportunities and advantages available for student through Cerro Coso Community College. Refreshments will be provided.

If you are planning to transfer from Cerro Coso to a four-year university, an explanation of transfer requirements and transfer resources will be provided.  It is important to know the transfer requirements so that you are well prepared prior to transferring.
