Register Now for the Fall 2006 Semester

Ridgecrest, CA – June 28, 2006

For your convenience, Cerro Coso Community College has made it possible for you to plan ahead by registering now for the Fall 2006 semester which begins August 26. You may register on-campus or on-line at www.cerrocoso.edu/coyoteconnection.

The summer hours for the Admissions and Records Office are 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. And the College bookstore is open the same hours to accommodate all of the student’s textbook needs.

On-campus registration operates on a first come, first served bases and is open to all new, continuing, and returning students. A complete list of the Fall 2006 schedule of classes is available on-campus or through the College website at www.cerrocoso.edu.

Call the College Counseling Office today at (760) 384-6219 for further information, to set up a counseling appointment, or to sign up for the College Placement Exam (CPE). There are College Placement Exams scheduled for July 24th from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m., August 8th from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., and August 24th from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. The CPE includes multiple choice in reading, writing, and math. There is also an Orientation and Essay exam scheduled for July 18th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. This Orientation and Essay exam is also available on-line. Contact the Counseling Office for more detail.

The Cerro Coso Fall 2006 semester begins August 26, 2006. Late registration will be conducted the week of August 28 through September 1, 2006. Register early for the best class selection. For more registration information, call the College at (760) 384-6100.
