Register Now for the Fall 2006 Semester at Cerro Coso

South Kern – June 21, 2006

For your convenience, the Cerro Coso Community College South Kern Campus on Edwards Air Force Base has made it possible for you to plan ahead by registering now for the Fall 2006 semester which begins August 26. You may register on-campus or on-line at www.cerrocoso.edu/coyoteconnection.

You may currently register on-campus at the South Kern Campus, located at 140 Methusa Avenue, Building 2453, Edwards AFB, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. On-campus registration operates on a first come, first served bases and is open to all new, continuing, and returning students. A complete list of the Fall 2006 schedule of classes is available on-campus or through the College website at www.cerrocoso.edu.

Call the College Office today at (661) 258-8644 for further information, to set up a counseling appointment, or to sign up for the College Placement Exam (CPE). The CPE includes Multiple Choice in reading, writing, and math and an Orientation and Essay section. There are College Placement Exams scheduled at the South Kern Campus on Edwards AFB on July 12th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., July 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., August 2nd from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., August 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., August 15th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and August 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. There is also a CPE scheduled to be given in California City on August 17th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Orientation and Essay exam is also available on-line. Contact the College Office for more detail and the location where the tests will be given.

The Cerro Coso Fall 2006 semester begins August 26, 2006. Late registration will be conducted the week of August 28 through September 1, 2006. Register early for the best class selection. For more registration information, call the College at (661) 258-8644.
