CCCC To Offer Workshop In Landscape Photography

Bishop, CA – April 13, 2006

Photographer/photography instructor, John Wilson, from the Cerro Coso Community College, Eastern Sierra College Center in Bishop will be teaching a photography workshop entitled, “Exploring the Craft and Aesthetics of Landscape Photography.” The workshop starts on Thursday, May 4, 2006 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and runs through Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until early afternoon. The workshop will include four field trips to photograph wild flowers and the Sierra scenery. The workshop will meet at the Bishop Campus for lectures, class discussion, and critique of student work completed while on the fieldtrips.

Students shooting digital cameras will have access to computers for downloading and editing their photographs. For students shooting film cameras, fast film processing will be available so students can participate in the critique. All levels of photographers are invited. The workshop is a great opportunity to improve your skills and share the experience with other photographers.

The class is a one unit class costing $26.00 to enroll (CRN Number is 33327). To enroll register on-line at www.cerrocoso.edu and open Coyote Connection, or drop by the Bishop Campus on Monday or Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., or Friday from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
