CCCC To Hold Lecture On How Dental and Overall Health are Related

Ridgecrest, CA – April 13, 2006

Cerro Coso Community College, Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) Club is sponsoring a lecture by Dr. Wade Hayashi, DDS on Thursday, April 20, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in Room 122C (ground floor, main building). Hayashi will be speaking on how dental and oral conditions reflect your total overall health. Cardiovascular diseases, significant illness, and many other concerns have been directly linked to findings in an individual’s teeth and gums. The presentation will highlight some of the newest advances in oral research. Dental health might be an indicator of past, present, and future health events.

Dr. Hayashi has been practicing dentistry for 40 years and enjoys his practice as an associate of Dr. Daniel Cook at the Dentist House on Drummond in Ridgecrest. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he moved to the mainland to raise a family. After graduating from Howard University School of Dentistry, Hayashi practiced for two years as a dentist for the military in Oklahoma and moved to Ridgecrest in 1992.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
