CCCC To Administer Placement Exams

Edwards AFB, CA – April 6, 2006

The Cerro Coso Community College summer semester begins June 12, 2006. In preparation, and for your convenience, the Cerro Coso South Kern Campus located on Edwards AFB will be administering the College Placement Exam for the summer term on five different dates. The Placement Exam is free and measures writing, reading, and math skills. It is suggested that prospective students with no prior college level English and Math take this exam. The Placement Exam assists students in choosing the appropriate course levels and directs them toward their educational and career goals.

The Placement Exams will be given on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, April 19, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 26, 2006 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 18, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 6, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Call the College today and sign up for the date that best fits your schedule. Space is limited and reservations are required. If you are interested in taking the placement exam, please contact the Cerro Coso South Kern Office at (661) 258-8644 to schedule an appointment.
