Cerro Coso Fine Arts Gallery Show and Reception

Ridgecrest, CA – February 27, 2006

Photograph by Stephen Callis picturing bridge and power lines over aqueductCerro Coso Community College’s Art Department is pleased to announce their latest gallery showing entitled “Public Works” by Stephen Callis. Callis’ works will be displayed in the College’s new Learning Resource Center (LRC) Fine Arts Gallery beginning March 16, 2006 and showing through April 28th. “Public Works” is an exhibit of large scale photographs of recent views of Los Angeles River Bridges. There will be a slide lecture on Thursday, March 16th at 3:00 p.m. and a “Meet the Artist” reception at 5:00 p.m. in the Art Gallery. The LRC Gallery hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. For more information, contact Dick Benson at 384-6240.
