Cerro Coso Looking For Bands To Participate In "Battle of the Bands"

Ridgecrest, CA – February 21, 2006

The Associated Students of Cerro Coso (ASCC) are hosting a “Battle of the Bands” Saturday, March 11, 2006. This fun-filled event starts at 11:00 am and ends at 6:00 pm inside the Cerro Coso gymnasium. Sign up for bands are now being conducted.

  • Participation will be limited to 10 bands and is on a first come first serve basis.
  • The bands will play 30-minute sets and placement will be luck of the draw.
  • A $25.00 entry fee will be charged and must be paid at the time of submitting the band participation entry form.
  • The band must furnish their own instruments and equipment.
  • Prizes will be awarded.

To sign up for participation in this event contact Anna Sue Eldridge or an officer of the ASCC in the Student Activities office Room 248. For additional information call 384-6353.

There will be food and soft drinks available for purchase. The admission fee for spectators will be only $2.00 payable at the door.
