Talent Sought for Upcoming Variety Show

Ridgecrest, CA – February 7, 2006

Are you a member of a band? Do you sing, dance, or act? Auditions are coming up for the Cerro Coso Drama Club’s Variety Show. Auditions will take place in the Cerro Coso Lecture Center from 1:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, February 11. All types of acts are welcome – singers, dancers, bands, actors, comedians… Audition pieces should be appropriate for a general audience and should be ten minutes or less. The auditions are open to all Cerro Coso students; performers do not need to be members of the Drama Club.

The Variety Show itself will take place in the College Lecture Center at 7:00 pm on Saturday, March 4. The show will serve as a fundraiser for the Drama Club and will help fund the club’s year-end trip to Los Angeles. The L.A. trip is open to all Cerro Coso students who are interested in traveling to L.A. to learn more about the entertainment industry. For more information, please contact Melinda Fogle Oliver in the Cerro Coso Theatre Department at 384-6114.
