CCCC Kern River Valley Campus to Offer Short Term/Late Start Classes

Ridgecrest, CA – February 6, 2006

CERRO COSO COMMUNITY COLLEGE KERN RIVER VALLEY CAMPUS TO OFFER SHORT TERM/ LATE START CLASSES



Cerro Coso Community College is currently registering students for new short term and accelerated classes that have been added to the Spring line up of classes.

Classes offered include Open Computer Lab, Computer Literacy, Beginning Word, Beginning Excel, MS. PowerPoint, Nutrition, Community First Aid and Safety, Introduction to Library Research and Bibliography, Becoming a Master Student, and American Government. The short term/late start schedule include .5 unit, 1 unit, and 3 unit classes.

The short term/late start classes have a wide variety of starting and ending dates from late January into mid-April. Classes are offered at the Kern River Campus in Lake Isabella and online. Students are urged to register as soon as possible for the best class selection.

Students may register Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on a first-come, first served. Interested students may also register any time at the CC Online homepage; http://cconline.cerrocoso.edu. For more information call the College at 379-5501.
