Cerro Coso Registration for Spring Classes Underway

Ridgecrest, CA – January 11, 2006

Cerro Coso Community College, South Kern Campus staff is busy registering students for Spring Classes which begins January 17. On-Campus registration is being conducted through January 12 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursdays. Cerro Coso College is closed on Fridays. On-campus registration operates on a first come, first served basis and is open to all new, continuing, and returning students. A list of Spring classes is available on-campus or through the College website at www.cerrocoso.edu. The College Office is located in Room 101 in Building 2453 and students do not need an appointment to register.

Students wishing to take Cerro Coso classes at Edwards AFB will be issued a temporary photo ID and Base Pass by Security Forces which will admit them to Base for the current Spring Semester. The student will take proof of enrollment to the Educational Services Office where a form for Security Forces is completed and signed. The form, drivers license, proof of insurance and auto registration are taken to Security Forces and the Base pass will be issued. Students should call the Cerro Coso Office at (661) 258-8644 for authorization of initial admittance.

Late Registration begins the first day of Spring classes, January 17 and will continue through January 27. For more information on registration, financial aid, academic counseling, placement exams, etc. call the South Kern Campus at (661)258-8644.
