Cerro Coso to Host Health Career Program Open House

Ridgecrest, CA – November 4, 2005

Cerro Coso Community College will host a Health Career Program Open House on Wednesday, November 9. The Open House will be conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Vocational Nursing classrooms (Rooms 128 & 116 with entry via the North Portico).

The Student Vocational Nurses will be providing information on assorted healthcare subjects and the Health Career Programs. The Open House theme is "Disaster Preparedness" with information being provided on being prepared for a disaster. A free gift will be given to participants. SVNs will have informational tables on assorted Disaster Preparedness subjects, General Health Career Topics, and General Health Topics. A tour and interactive visit in the Skills Lab will be done. Also, participants will be invited to have a guided tour of other areas of the campus. For more information contact Mary Kowalski at 384-6333 or in room 130.

Local and Distant high schools will be invited to attend. The public is cordially invited to attend.
