Children in sculpture park learning about natureChildren Learn About Wildlife and Preservation at CCCC Child Development Center

Ridgecrest, CA – July 11, 2005

Children enrolled in Cerro Coso Child Development Center’s Preschool Program learn about wildlife preservation as they observe wild jackrabbits being released. The clutch of baby jackrabbits was found in one of the Center’s outdoor learning environments, and were too young to survive on their own. Sharon Fuller, with the International Bird Rescue Research Center, and her son, Allen Fuller, provided care and rehabilitation for them until they were old enough to be released into the wild. Cerro Coso Child Development Center serves children 3 months of age through the start of Kindergarten and is open to the community.
