CCCC to Administer Placement Exam

Ridgecrest, CA – May 9, 2005

The Cerro Coso Community College summer semester begins June 13, 2005. In preparation Cerro Coso will be giving placement exams for the summer term. The placement exam is free and measures writing, reading, and math skills. It is suggested that prospective students with no prior college level English and Math take this exam. Students will receive their test results at the end of the session along with an orientation by a Cerro Coso counselor. The placement exam assists students in choosing the appropriate course levels and directs them toward their educational and career goals.

Orientation Sessions:
Tuesday, May 24, 2005 5:00 – 7:00 PM

College Placement Exams:
Tuesday, May 17, 2005 2:00 – 4:30 PM
Tuesday, June 07, 2005 2:00 – 4:30 PM
Tuesday, June 14, 2005 5:00 – 7:00 PM

Space is limited and reservations are required. If you are interested in taking the placement test please contact the Cerro Coso Community College Counseling office at (760) 384-6219 to schedule an appointment.
