ESCC Bishop Campus

CCCC to Offer Exciting New Workshops in Bishop

Bishop, CA – January 22, 2004

Attention business managers, small business owners, administrative assistants, and supervisors Cerro Coso Community College Eastern Sierra College Center in Bishop will be offering the following Community Education workshops this spring.

Customer Service; Job One
During this workshop individuals will learn how to identify what customers want, how to give great service every time, how to resolve conflicts effectively and efficiently, and learn how to create and deliver an effective sales campaign. Individuals will be evaluated for performance. Classes will be held Saturdays, February 29, March 6, and March 13, 2004 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Using QuickBooks
Individuals will learn how to use the most popular accounting software package for small businesses. Areas to be discussed will include review of basic accounting practices, accounts receivable and payable, and payroll. Classes will be held Saturdays, March 20, March 27, and April 3, 2004 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

The Supervisor’s Tool Box
During this workshop individuals will get an understanding of the challenges that are part of supervising and motivating your team. Managing expectations, problem solving, conflict resolution and coaching will also be discussed during this workshop. Classes will be held Saturdays, April 17, April 24 and May 1, 2004 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Each Community Education workshop will be held at the Cerro Coso Community College, Bishop Campus located at 4090 West Line Street at the Ed Powers Road intersection. Students may register and pay for the $30 fee per workshop at the College office during regular business hours. For more information contact the College at 872-1565. Seating is limited.
