ESCC Bishop Campus

New Course Being Offered this Spring in Bishop

Bishop, CA – January 9, 2004

Cerro Coso Community College will be offering a new course this spring semester, Emergency Medical Technician I (EMTC C105). This 5.00 unit course focuses on the techniques of emergency medial care and the operational aspects required for EMT (ambulance) personnel. Recognition of symptoms of illnesses and injuries and proper procedures of emergency care and transportation will also be discussed. Class will start on January 21 and end on May 14, 2004. Class session will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm until 9:12 pm. Instructor Martha Reynolds is a nurse at Northern Inyo Hospital.

Classes begin on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 with a cost of $18.00 per unit. Register early for best class selection. Class size is limited. For more information contact the College at 872-1565.
