CCCC To Hold Community Education Classes in Kern River Valley

Kern River Valley, CA – December 11, 2003

Cerro Coso Community College Kern River Valley Campus is offering the following Community Education course, Drivers Education, beginning on January 7, 2004.

Driver Education—this course will present to the beginning driver a practical and realistic guide to the fundamentals of driving and the rules of the road. Driver Education will take the student step by step from the basics of vehicle control to the specific dangers of different driving environments to the responsibilities of vehicle ownership. The student will receive the knowledge to help him/her be a safe and competent driver.

This class meets the requirements of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for an under 18 year old driver permit. Classes will be held Wednesday and Thursday nights, from 6:00-9:00 pm. Beginning Wednesday, January 7, 2004 through Wednesday, February 4, 2004. A parent/guardian signature is required.

Students may register and pay the Community Education fee of $35 at the College office located at 5520 Lake Isabella Blvd. during regular business hours.
