CCCC Drama Program Presents "The Dining Room"

Ridgecrest, CA – November 24, 2003

The Cerro Coso Community College Drama Department will present A. R. Gurney’s The Dining Room on Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 7:30 pm and on Sunday, December 7, 2003 at 2:00 pm.

The play is composed of a series of unrelated vignettes all taking place in a dining room. From a young girl’s birthday party to a secret romantic rendezvous, the diverse collection of scenes runs the gamut from the poignant to the hilarious.

The performances will take place in the Cerro Coso Community College Lecture Center. Tickets are $5.00 general admission and $4.00 for students, military, and seniors. Tickets are available at the Cerro Coso Community College Business Office and at Lou’s Hallmark.

Acting Showcase
On Monday, December 8, 2003 at 4:00 pm, the Cerro Coso Acting class will present a showcase of monologues in the Lecture Center. This performance is free and open to the public.

Improvisation Performance
On Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at 3:15 pm, the Cerro Coso Improvisation Class (also known as the Who Said What Now? Improv Troupe) will present their final improve performance in the CCCC Lecture Center. This performance is free and open to the public.
