Financial Aid Workshop to be Held in California City

California City, CA – October 22, 2003

Cerro Coso Community College-South Kern Campus announces a Financial Aid Workshop on Wednesday, November 12, 2003. The workshop will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in room 54 of the California City Middle School. Shauna Young, Financial Aid Assistant, will be going over the process for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) packet, the various types of financial aid available such as government and private, and the timelines and deadlines involved.

The items that will be needed to complete the FAFSA packet include a #2 pencil, a copy of year 2002 Federal Income Tax Return or year 2002 W-2, year 2002 Untaxed Income information, Social Security benefits, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Passport to Services.
