Ridgecrest, CA – April 8, 2003

The students from Cerro Coso’s Personal Development Class “Becoming a Life Long Learner” as a class and community project, have chosen to support and show our appreciation to the troops by sending donations, cards and educational supplies. The class is requesting the College and the community to assist in this meaningful project. Interested individuals can sign an appreciation banner, donate money (i.e. packaging costs and phone cards) or drop off donations at Kmart on Saturday, April 12 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Boxes for donations will be also located at Cerro Coso Community College Switchboard, Special Services Office, and the Book Nook.
