Cerro Coso Offers Alaskan Glacier Bay Cruise

Ridgecrest, CA – January 28, 2003

For seven glorious days the Cerro Coso Community College Alumni Association group, in conjunction with Ridgecrest Travel, will visit some of the most beautiful spots on earth. The fun-filled Alaskan Cruise is open to the public and will depart on September 10, 2003. Special rates have been secured for an exciting get-away package, which includes food, lodging, and upgrades are available. Cruises start as low as $720 per person, plus port tax. Airfare is not included in package price.

Ports of call on this Alaskan Cruise include Ketchikan, Skagway, and Juneau. In Ketchikan visit one of the many crystalline lakes that dot a landscape blanketed by endless forest and hills. View 1000-foot waterfalls and sheer granite walls plunging into the sea. Join an experienced Alaskan trail guide for a hike through natural, unspoiled beauty in the coastal forest. In Juneau enjoy a true Alaskan experience as you take a helicopter tour of the glacier-panorama, combined with a once-in-a-lifetime dogsled ride upon a glacier. You can do all this and more by taking a shore tour at one of the ports-of-call. There are so many tours to choose from, there's sure to be something for everyone! The highlight of the Glacier Bay cruise is a full day in this protected national park, which has numerous sea birds, humpback whales and 15 active glaciers.

This exciting new ship, Carnival Spirit, is a revolution in cruising, designed so that 80% of the staterooms offer magnificent ocean views. And of those, 80% feature private balconies.

Everyone is invited to join us for this fun-filled seven-day cruise vacation to Alaska, September 10, 2003. For more information and reservations contact Ridgecrest Travel at 760-371-1020. Space is limited so don’t miss all the fun; make your reservations today.

NOTE: Air Fare is NOT included in the costs listed above. This was a misprint in the first release. We apologize for the confusion.
